Meet Tracey Miller, owner and General Manager of iCRYO Fairfield. She and her husband Gregg own the first iCRYO Connecticut location! They are awesomely enthusiastic and beyond excited to welcome you to iCRYO Fairfield!

Tracey was a nurse for over 30 years. She worked in the ER, ICU and most recently was a home care nurse. She cared for many patients during this time, patients she was helping during illness. Tracey wanted to be on the other side of the spectrum and help patients maintain their health.

Tracey first heard about iCRYO from her uncle who owned Planet Fitness locations in CT. Tracey and Gregg loved the idea behind iCRYO, flew to Texas, met with franchisers and fell in love with the philosophy of wellness with iCRYO and was immediately sold. The Millers are no strangers to business, they own Miller Nissan in Fairfield which was started by Gregg’s grandfather.

Tracey and Gregg have three children, Casey, Shane and Morgan, you may see one at iCRYO from time to time!

With all the wonderful services iCRYO has to offer we asked Tracey what her favorite service is:

“I really like the toning facial and I would follow it up with whole body cryo that gives you a feel good feeling with you come out with an adrenaline rush. Facial feels amazing and you feel your face tightening and you feel refreshed and overall feels amazing. Makes makes my fine lines less. You look younger and refreshed and brighter. Skin is glowing.”

She had us at hello!

When Tracey is not working she loves to travel and try new restaurants. Switzerland and Peru are among her favorite destinations she has traveled to. Tracey is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves to explore new restaurants with Gregg. Among her favorites are Zohara in West Hartford, Viron Rondo in Cheshire and Bodega Taco Bar in Fairfield.

During our visit, Sherri here, I tried the iCRYO chamber. Benefits include:

  • A decrease in inflammation and pain

  • Mood enhancement

  • An increase in metabolism

  • Increase in energy levels

  • An improvement in sleep

  • 300 calorie burn - does that mean we get to have ice cream for dinner?

I felt an immediate endorphin kick and felt instantly refreshed! I loved this experience!

Jean experienced the Localized Cryotherapy and felt an immediate decrease in inflammation.

And then we tried Compression Therapy. Wow, what a treat to sit back, kick up your feet and let the compression sleeves do their work!

Benefits include:

  • decreasing lactic acid

  • decreasing inflammation

  • quick muscle recovery

  • improving blood circulation

If you want to become part of the iCRYO family, you can be a “Founding Passholder.” With this offering, you will receive a 20% discount for life on your service packages. Founding Passholders are available until 8/21/21 so come on down!

Are you looking for a magical evening to meet up with loved ones but want to relax and truly enjoy the experience ? Meet Jennie Julio, owner and creator of the Luxury Picnic Co.! She will make your event one to remember!

After the pandemic, Jennie had a desire to have her family and friends get together, eat great food, laugh and have a wonderful time. The pandemic proved how important time shared with loved ones truly is. She wanted the shared time to be extra special and luxurious for her loved ones. Luxury Picnic Company was born.

As Jennie explains, it doesn’t have to be a milestone event, to wait to celebrate. We need to also celebrate our time together every day. Jennie wants clients to feel luxurious without having to do all the work. One of Jennie’s favorite parts of her business is the initial reveal of the picnic space to her client. After she and her team have set up and styled the picnic space, seeing the excitement and thrill on her client's faces is incredibly rewarding.

In addition to three employees, Jennie's current team consists of Adam, her 20-year-old son, and Abbie her 17-year-old daughter. Adam and Abbie help setup the picnic spaces and Jennie styles the tables, pillows, food and extras. Furthermore, Adam is the photographer, you’ll see his work @LuxuryPicnicCo on Instagram. Abbie is the social media expert; you’ll see her creations on TikTok - @luxurypicnicco - and Instagram. Jennie handles the company's website: www.LuxuryPicnicCoCT.com. And just an aside, my daughter and I used to carpool with Abbie to Westchester and Abbie rocks, an absolute amazing human that positively radiates.

When Jennie isn’t planning and designing picnic experiences, she teaches yoga privately to long-standing clients. She has been a yoga therapist since 2005.

Jennie’s message:

“Never be the one to say no to yourself. The answer will always be no if you don’t ask. Let someone else give you the no and you’ll never regret a passed opportunity.”

Everyone is happy to share space created by Jennie.

Meet Maria Flynn, owner of Hygge Home Living in Ridgefield. Maria is an interior stylist and professional organizer. A friend introduced Maria to the Danish word HYGGE, (Hygge describes an ambience as well as a state of mind; it evokes an inner sense of contentment). and the concept resonated with her. And that’s exactly what Maria accomplishes, she creates function and thoughtful design that creates a space you want to come home to!

Maria’s clients are busy women that have unfinished home décor projects and/or folks looking to simplify living everyday at home.

Before

Inspired by beauty seen in nature, light, art, patina as well as simple life pleasures Maria designs thoughtful and functional spaces that encourages your company to stay a while and we promise they won’t want to leave!

Maria also offers professional organizing services. I (Sherri speaking here, Jean is very organized! 😉) had a kitchen junk drawer that I sought Maria’s advice on. Maria asked me general questions about my kitchen. Do I bake? Do I cook? Do I entertain? She suggested the drawer next to my oven is where I should store my oven mitts (they were on the other side of the kitchen and I never thought a second about the logistics).

So, after the questions, we spoke about zoning and she advised organizing three drawers, instead of the one! Sign me up!!! She then measured the drawers and took pictures of the contents we would be keeping.

Maria is brilliant in her organizing. She empties the entire contents and questions the usefulness of each item. She then sets up stations:

👉Keep

👉Toss

👉Donate

👉Rehouse

I had some items in my drawer that I received as a gift from our wedding 24 years ago and never used!

When Maria came back for the second appointment, she offered me different organization (storage) options that I could choose from. These organizing trays were selected to custom fit perfectly within the space.

And now when I come home and open these drawers, I feel contentment and love for these drawers. I like to show them off! Anyone that messes up my drawers better watch out! 😉
